Creating a tremendous wildlife photograph is an extremely rewarding pursuit. However, developing the skills and techniques necessary to create captivating wildlife images is more difficult than it might appear on the surface. Composition, lighting, equipment, natural history, and patience are just some of the areas the wildlife photographer needs to specialize in.

    1. Be aware of clutter in the background that might distract from your subject.
    2. While capturing wild life photography, keep in mind to focus and sharpen the eyes of your primary subject.
    3. Using fine grain film or a digital sensitivity setting in the ISO 50 or 100 range on a bright day will allow you later to enlarge a cropped section of the picture and obtain a relatively sharp picture.
    4. Try to capture your subject in action.

There’s always one…wild life photography theme

    By:  Yasha Shantha

Comments:I quite like the vantage point chosen to capture the frame. Shooting from the top was a great idea. Also the fact that one elephant stands out from the rest is commendable. Its almost like a pattern being fromed out of all the other elephants and just one standing out in a very unique and charming way. On the whole its a fantastic image. One also has to appreciate the great sense of timing !!

Absolutely number one for the day !!

    Click and Zoom…!!
    By: Dave Matthew

Comment: The picture is visual treat. A very unique subject to practice the zoom in zoom out effect at Slow Shutter speed. However it works well in d above picture. The foreground leads you into the Taj Mahal. I think it was a great idea to have the monument and the reflection completely in the frame. On the whole the picture looks very well balanced and the effect will enhance its beauty.

    Absolutely no.1 for the day.

Shooting Macro pictures can give you some breath taking results. What we fail to see with our naked eyes is visible to the Macro lens. For instance, when we shoot insects or flies, our eyes are not equippd to see the fine details of the hair on its face. This is the power of  the Macro photography. It brings with it the thrills of shooting small subjects that normally go unnoticed.
To Shoot great Macro, you can brear a few things in mind. Let me talk about this while i show you some of my Macro images that i very recently shot at Borivalli national park(mumbai).
