    Greetings from Cancer Patients Aid Association [CPAA]!

    Every year 31st May is observed as World No Tobacco Day (WNTD). This year’s theme as mandated by the World Health Organization (WHO) is “Tobacco Industry Interference” which focuses on tactics used to disrupt tobacco control policy. Cancer Patients Aid Association (CPAA), in cooperation with the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare [MHFW] and WHO is organizing a photography competition for ages 18 yrs & above, which will be judged by a panel of celebrities. An exhibition of the best selected, will be held at Taj Lands End, Bandra (Mumbai).

    TOPICS:

    1. Capture the tobacco industry marketing tactics

    2. Ill effects of tobacco

    3. Harm from Second Hand Smoke

    RULES:

    1. Not more than TWO entries per person will be accepted

    2. File size should not exceed 2MB if sent by email

    3. Photograph size minimum 12”x16” if sent by hard copy

    4. All entries should have a caption

    NOTE:

    1. Applicable for 18 yrs and above

    2. No brand names or logos to be used

    3. You are free to use any supporting slogan

    4. Photographs can be sent by hard copy to the address given below  or email to Anila.Thale@cancer.org.in

    5. The photograph should be in JPEG format only

    6. Both color/black & white photographs can be submitted in the photo contest

    7. All photographs will be judged on the basis of content, composition, sensitivity, creativity and style

    8. Last date for submission 1st April, 2012

    9. Send in your entries with the following details: Name/ Age/ Contact no/ Email id/ Address/ whether PROFESSIONAL or AMATEUR

    PRIZES:

    1. Best 100 will be invited for celebrity Musical event

    2. Top 3 will be awarded exciting prizes

    3. 10 consolation prizes

    4. Best selected entries will be displayed prominently
